A Testimonial from Zach

When asked about his experience training with Cory, here is what Zach had to say:

Man, I’m not sure where to start. Cory and I have been friends pretty much since day 1. From being the only two males in our kindergarten class to becoming a quarterback and center pair playing football together, Cory has been with me through it all. I knew Cory before he started on this journey. I saw the beginning of this movement while we were in high school lifting in the field house at Union Local High School (Go Jets!). Anyway, life happened for the two of us and we went our separate ways after graduation. I got married and had two children and went to work in a coal mine and he moved away and did his thing. After my divorce, I was a shell of what I once was. I was scrolling through Facebook one day and seen these pictures of Cory and was like, “Holy hell is that Carp? Dude is jacked!” It didn’t take me long to get in touch with him and talk to him about myself, my issues with weight and appearance, being newly single, what I wanted to do, and where I wanted to go. He knew exactly what I needed to do and, in his words, “what better time than right now to get your shit together?” That’s exactly what I did. I joined the movement. I busted my ass and was reaching my goals. Again, life happened (bullshit excuse btw). I quit going because life got in the way. He never lost touch with me. He never gave up on me. He would push me everyday to get off my ass and cut the bullshit. He convinced me to be the best I can be not only for myself, but for my children as well. He told me to be someone that others could look up to. I got to believing in myself and got back on the right track. So not only was he coaching me through nutrition and his killer workouts, but he was coaching me in life too. I get up everyday and go back to the same field house that it all started for Cory and I 10+ years ago. Because of Cory and his guidance, I am still on the right track by smashing weight, appearance, and lifting goals on a consistent basis. I’m killing PRs and becoming happier with how I look. It started with the fire that Cory opened my eyes to. I’m 28, a teacher, a single father, a full-time college student, and I make time to do what I must do. Whether it be back in the mid 90’s when we became close, or if I texted him right now, he’s always had my back and been there for me. He knows what he’s doing and loves what he does. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for a fitness and nutrition lifestyle change! Thanks for all you have done, are doing, and will continue to do for me brother! #noexcuses #FWYH
